Biofuel Receives Notice of Default from Lenders (DTN / The Progressive Farmer)

Denver-based ethanol producer BioFuel Energy Corp. has reportedly defaulted on loans, according to Reuters, and might have to cut back or cease production at its two plants in Fairmont, Minn., and Wood River, Neb., or to file Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
